A mural made by Minia Regos in the 2021 artistic-educational program Elas tamén Pintan. By means of a triptych composition, the creator from Santiago de Compostela highlights the identities that converge in the neighbourhood of Conxo by depicting three female figures rooted in its memory and everyday life.
Minia Regos has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo and specialises in teaching “Illustrated Books and Audiovisual Animation.” Her work focuses mainly on the publishing field, working as an illustrator of children’s and young people’s literature, while carrying out her own artistic projects, both individually and collectively. Mural work is another of her facets and in recent years she has participated in different events and projects related to public space, as well as public and private commissions for different entities. Her work is meticulous, detailed, and poetically complex. Precise lines and a subtle use of color, with profound content in the messages she conveys.
