Synopsis

Tempus Fugit is located in the Political Science Faculty, in a space of rest and movement between classes. Inspired by a page of pastimes, it combines visual games, satirical illustrations and riddles that invite critical reflection on different themes in relation to politics and society. The painting is aimed at stimulating students’ thinking in a playful way, generating different questions and answers about media power and manipulation. Its dynamic and accessible character encourages interaction and turns the space into a meeting point, proposing not just a decorative piece but also an interactive experience of reflection and debate.

Bio

The tandem Miguel Peralta and Sokram, two well-known figures from the mural scene in Galicia, came together to work on this painting. Peralta is part of the creative duo Cestola na Cachola together with Xoana Almar, with whom he created this cooperative in 2011 that carries out mural and illustration projects. For his part, since 2004 Sokram has been part of the Mutante Creativo studio, which carries out projects featuring muralism, illustration and the curation of events, such as the pioneering DESORDES CREATIVAS in Ordes or the REXENERA FEST in Carballo.
