Synopsis

The ensemble is called “Parte da super familia Asteraceae” and is part of her series of murals called “Reforestando.” It is a project that intervenes in public space, arising from the intention of regenerating abandoned places by helping nature recover lost spaces.

Bio

The Galician artist Doa has been experimenting with different expressive techniques since she was very young. She learned from art and photography in Galicia, Mexico, and Portugal. In this learning process she discovered the possibility of helping the green kingdom recover lost space. She then began her Reforesting project, thinking about the transformation of public space by means of a site-specific mural featuring a plant theme.
