Synopsis

The mural represents the different activities that take place in the educational centre and, more specifically, physical and mental care, thus adapting to the building where these activities are carried out. It focuses on sports and nature featuring the female figure. By means of renewed aesthetics of traditional Galician illustration and a diversity of colour featuring its gradient treatment, the artist achieves an image full of light and dynamism.

Bio

Ana Santiso is an illustrator, cartoonist, and muralist. She graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo and in Illustration from Barcelona’s Massana School. She began her career as an illustrator in 2010 and since then she has illustrated 17 books, two of which she authored, with various Galician publishers. As a muralist, she has undertaken projects throughout Galicia, especially in rural areas.
