Synopsis

In the midst of striking atmospheres, complex patterns, and rich textures that point to his Mexican essence, lurks a call to attention about the conservation of the natural environment and everything that surrounds us. In this mural, our gaze is focused on the face of a majestic lion, created halfway between figuration and abstraction, in which the warm and saturated chromatic ranges contrast with the grey of the surrounding environment.

Bio

Farid Rueda is one of the best artists of Mexico’s great contemporary mural scene, with a long career and experience in this field, and murals in numerous cities around the globe. His work, curiosity, and graphic experimentation led him towards a clearly figurative style, in which the treatment of colour and animal figures play a crucial role.
