Synopsis

In this mural, Miguel Peralta presents his most fantastic dream world to tell us an amusing and beautiful story. A young sun from a warm, dry place immerses himself, with his diving suit and paintbrush, into a wet, deep underwater world. It is inhabited by trees with multicoloured leaves and abstract vegetation. His sherpa fish will guide him to find the right way in his exploration of these dreamlike places.

Bio

Miguel Peralta is one of the most visible activists in the Galician mural scene. His work spans illustration, painting, and muralism, with a complex and dense pictorial style, full of symbolism and visual metaphors that contain profound reflections on today’s society and the human condition. His paintings feature a mixture of different techniques and materials to achieve an optimal result that enables him to understand and communicate everything he requires. He studied at the Granada School of Arts and Crafts. In 2011 he settled in Galicia and established the Cestola cooperative together with Xoana Almar.
