Synopsis

A mural made by Festa in the 2021 artistic-educational program ELAS TAMÉN PINTAN featuring mixed technique. By means of the depiction of part of Conxo Psychiatric Hospital’s architecture and a deliberately anonymous character, the painting invites us to reflect on the health institution’s importance in neighbourhood life and in the social relationships that occur within it.

Bio

Marina AMR is a multidisciplinary artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Granada and the Accademia di Belle Arti Bologna, Italy, where she specialised in the fields of Editorial Illustration and Ceramic Sculpture. She consolidated her training as a graphic designer during a three-year professional stay in Edinburgh, UK, in institutions such as the Edinburgh University of Arts, and in graphic and web design at Aula Creactiva, Madrid. She is also a secondary school teacher thanks to a degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela. She has been working as a creative artist for various companies, institutions, and individuals since 2012, as well as a curator and event organiser.
