The mural depicts a hypnotic composition in which the human figure dialogues with the building’s physiognomy in an evocative interplay of planes and colours. By combining the figurative and the abstract, it invites us to reflect on the hidden and the visible in the stories linked to personal and collective identities.
Vanesa Galdeano (architect) and Analí Chanquía (Arts graduate) have been working for more than 12 years in the creation of their works in public spaces. They started collaborating together in 2015. Their fundamental line of pictorial output features the depiction of a wide variety of faces in order to highlight diversity in the spectrum of the community and the existence of different groups. These characters are often found within architectures that are used as an artistic medium, becoming part of the mural by means of colour and form.
