After passing Vaquería de O Carme de Abaixo, an old farm transformed into housing by the architect Víctor López Cotelo, and going by the chapel of O Carme de Abaixo, the itinerary enters woodland surrounded by the murmur of the Sarela’s running water. Going along the riverbank, we observe gardens, bridges, irrigation ditches, channels, waterwheels and ruined tanneries in sunlight filtering through the trees. Unforgettable.
