IRIBARNE is an irreverent stage investigation into a key figure of recent Galician and Spanish history. It follows the life of a man born in Rouco Varela during Alfonso XIII’s monarchy, who emigrated to Cuba and returned to navigate politics with ambition. The play explores power, ambition, and unfiltered discourse of a character who left a mark on Galician politics, without being a conventional biopic.
