Santiago rewards its tourists with free guided tours
“Santiago Rewards You” enable tourists that visit Santiago to enjoy a free guided tour that otherwise costs should spend at least 2 nights in one of Santiago's hotels or boarding houses.
Those who spend at least 2 nights in one of Santiago’s hotels or boarding houses will receive a gift voucher for a “Narrated Compostela” guided tour (one visit per person). These tours in English will be available till October 15, every day at 10 am.
"Narrated Compostela" consists of a tour around the main streets and squares of Santiago’s Old Town, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The visit relates the history of the Apostle James, the origin of the pilgrimage and the development of Santiago de Compostela. The itinerary begins in Praza das Praterías and goes through the Old Town’s main squares and streets. In English.
How to enjoy the free guided tour
If you wish to enjoy this offer, and you spend a minimum of 2 nights in one of Santiago de Compostela’s hotels or boarding houses, please send an email to SantiagoTePremia@SantiagoTurismo.com at least 24 hours before the requested tour. Your email should indicate where you are staying (hotel or boarding house) and the date of your stay in Santiago de Compostela, as well as the date and time chosen to enjoy your free tour and, where applicable, the number of persons entitled to the gift (all of whom must spend at least 2 nights in Santiago´s hotels or boarding houses), including their particulars (name, surname and date of birth).
"Santiago Rewards You" is an initiative of Turismo de Santiago de Compostela official tourism board, together with the Galician Association of Professional Guides and it is supported by the Deputación da Coruña.
