This makes him one of the most successful German authors of the 20th century.
Michael Ende's biography was not without its unexpected twists and turns, but his life was always dedicated to art and creativity in various forms. The richly illustrated exhibition presents the key stages of his life and work, offering a vivid insight into his development as a writer and his most emblematic works.

Festivals
The Festa do Banquete de Conxo will count on the tourist train, which will be available to citizens and visitors for free transfers between the Alameda, in the city centre, and the neighbourhood of Conxo.
The 2025 Ascensión Festivities will fill Compostela with music, activities, and tradition during the last week of May. This celebration, one of the most beloved by the people of Santiago, returns with open-air concerts, children’s shows, traditional markets, fairground rides in the Alameda, and exhibitions of Galician folk culture.
