FAIA presents her second solo album, Alvela, a complex and subtle work, with ten songs that deal with the experience of motherhood, the memory of the body and the violence that crosses it, but also with the strength that resides in the intimate, in desire and pleasure. FAIA revisits lullabies, romances and other traditional songs accompanied only by string instruments and manipulated field recordings, a creative constriction that gives Alvela a sonic coherence and a singular organicity.  

In this premiere concert FAIA will be accompanied by the Breton harpist Bleuenn Le Friec and the Vigo string quartet Suelen Estar Cuartet, made up of Elena Vázquez (violin), María José Pámpano (violin/viola), Macarena Montesinos (cello) and Saúl Puga (contrabaixo). The musical proposal is completed with the scenography and costumes by Melania Freire and the lighting design by Nonon Lab.
