“Rúas” and towers

The “rúas” (streets) in the monumental district are rich examples of typical Galician architecture and “reward” attentive photographers with unexpected views of the Cathedral. For example, in the middle and upper sections of Rúa do Franco, you can photograph the Bell Tower. In Rúa do Vilar (beside the Airas Nunes café), you have a classic view of the arches with the Clock Tower in the background. And the parallel street, Rúa Nova, gives you a view of its arcaded houses guarding the tower of the Church of Santa María Salomé.
