8. Rúa de San Pedro

Leaving behind Praza de Cervantes and going along Rúa Casas Reais, where we will also come across modern restaurants, we will come to Puerta del Camino –the old gateway to Santiago. From here we enter Rúa de San Pedro.

It is one of Compostela’s not-to-be-missed spots, one of the city’s most fashionable streets, a meeting place for tourists and residents alike. We can enjoy traditional restaurants serving typical Galician cuisine in an “enxebre” (genuine) environment, but also new options that have become innovative standards in only a few years, without overlooking vegan food.
