Two boys of about eleven years of age clash violently in a park. Swollen lips and two broken teeth.... The parents of the ‘victim’ invite the parents of the ‘bully’ to their home to resolve the conflict. What begins as a chat with jokes and cordial phrases, takes on a more violent tinge as the parents reveal their ridiculous contradictions and grotesque social prejudices.

The situation gets so out of hand that no one is safe from receiving their share of personal offence, and all attempts to calm things down and establish peace end in failure. Everyone has their own opinion on how to channel the conflict affecting their children (from how to define aggression to how to punish the aggressor, to who is more or less to blame), and from there other issues arise on which, of course, they cannot agree.

The play takes out all the rubbish that these four individuals accumulated throughout their lives in relation to the education they received, the social position they hold, their profession, ... and shows us their hidden face. Un deus salvaxe is pure script, pure dialogue and pure interpretation.
