The Lákazans
The Lákazans is a band formed in 2011 that bases its repertoire on the main styles of American music, such as soul, blues, funk, rhythm & blues and country. Throughout their career, they have played on numerous stages in Galicia, exploring the essence of these traditional genres.
They released three studio albums, featuring arrangements inspired by the roots of American music, with a mixture of influences that connects with tradition without losing their contemporary approach.

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
