Samaín in Galicia is a celebration closely linked to All Saints’ Day and the chestnut festival. It is based on the tradition of carving pumpkins on All Saints’ Day, which were left on the roads to scare passersby.
Traditionally, it was also common not to clear the table after dinner in case the spirits of the deceased visited during the night. The fire was kept burning so they wouldn’t be cold… And around that fire, scary stories were told… Do you want to hear them?
In the auditorium. For children aged 3 to 8. Free admission until full capacity.
