The Plataforma Festival is an unmissable annual event for lovers of culture and the arts, bringing together diverse audiences with its interdisciplinary approach. Between May 16 and 25, the festival will energize the streets and squares of the city, with performances, music, film, dance, stage proposals, meetings, workshops, exhibitions, performative lectures and contemporary art.
Thanks to its cross-cutting nature, the Plataforma Festival integrates seamlessly with Compostela's cultural programming, as well as with the network of public and private institutions that collaborate with the festival. Once again this year, Plataforma is committed to local talent and equality, making culture the integrating axis of Compostela's heritage. This year's program will include venues such as Praza das Praterías, Bonaval Park, the DIDAC Foundation, the NUMAX movie theater, the Santa Marta Socio-Cultural Center, the SGAE Sociedad General de Autores e Editores headquarters, the University Church, the Riquela Hall and the CGAC (Galician Contemporary Art Center), in addition to recovering the Agustín Magán Hall for stage use.
