Hamlet is undoubtedly the most famous play in history, written around 1600 by a man who, like Atlas, tried to take the globe into his hands, and with it all human affairs, and place them in his small theatre in south London, The Globe. From there, theatre would become a mirror in which humanity could critically observe itself through plays that are inexhaustible masterpieces of pure passion and stage action.
