Festival de Nadal da Escola Municipal de Música
Once again this year, the Escola Municipal de Música will hold its traditional Christmas Festival in which the most outstanding groups and musical formations of the centre will participate: the choirs, the Bandiña, the Band, the Combo de Música Moderna, the Agrupación de Música Tradicional, the Orquestiña, the Orchestra and the Big Band.
Each of these groups will offer a selection of pieces covering various musical genres and styles, ranging from classical to modern or traditional music, including compositions typical of the Christmas season.

Forth edition of this festival, which is an encounter with the local community and the rock heritage of the area through local and sustainable cultural proposals.
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
