Esculturas do vento. Entre a fe e a fantasía nos tellados de Compostela is an exhibition dedicated to the fascinating world of Compostela’s gargoyles.
The show features visual artworks—drawings and sculptures—created by 3rd-year ESO students from the Visual and Audiovisual Arts program (EPVA) at IES de Cacheiras, offering creative and sensitive reinterpretations of these unique figures that inhabit the city’s rooftops.
The project also involves students from the Graphic Arts programs at CIFP Compostela, who designed and produced the exhibition’s poster, brochure, and roll-up. The photographs of the gargoyles that served as inspiration are by photographer Álvaro Trillo.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until June 6. During this time, visitors will be able to vote for their favorite gargoyles in the drawing and sculpture categories.
A unique opportunity to rediscover Santiago de Compostela through the artistic gaze of its youth.
