On the occasion of Book Day, we will take a look at the beginnings of writing to understand the importance of this tool for communication and recording information. We will get to know and experiment with different supports and tools used for writing throughout history, focusing on this occasion on ancient Egypt.

Festivals
The Festa do Banquete de Conxo will count on the tourist train, which will be available to citizens and visitors for free transfers between the Alameda, in the city centre, and the neighbourhood of Conxo.
The 2025 Ascensión Festivities will fill Compostela with music, activities, and tradition during the last week of May. This celebration, one of the most beloved by the people of Santiago, returns with open-air concerts, children’s shows, traditional markets, fairground rides in the Alameda, and exhibitions of Galician folk culture.
