This city establishment, VIDE, VIDE!, is once again hosting a small space for conversation, in this case around the violinist Annelie Gahl, professor at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and regular collaborator of the Concentus Musicus Wien, the famous group founded and directed by the legendary Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
We will talk with her about her personal experience as an outstanding performer in the Austrian capital and teacher in the city of Salzburg and delve into the repertoire performed the previous evening on the musical significance of the Rosary Sonatas by Heinrich Ignaz Biber and the techniques used in their performance, in scordatura, a real challenge for the performer.
For listeners, it will be a sonic and visual experience to get to know the technique that allows different sonorities to be obtained and to give shape to the different textures and atmospheres that accompany the different moods that the music tries to reflect.
