International Museum Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 18 May, with special events in various cultural venues across the city.
The Cathedral Museum will offer free guided tours to the Royal Pantheon, San Martiño Pinario, the MuSar and the tapestry collection. Other venues such as the Museum of Pilgrimages, the CGAC, the MUPEGA and the Cidade da Cultura will also host special activities including workshops, guided visits and open house days.
The Museo do Pobo Galego, as well as offering free admission on the 18th, organises on Friday the 16th (9 p.m.) a ‘senso-sonorous’ drifting by Elsa Pereira.
In the Museum of the Casa da Troia, on 15 May there will be guided tours every half hour.
The Fundación Eugenio Granell is also joining in the celebrations with open days, concerts and guided tours.
