The Gaiás Centre Museum opens its doors at night on the occasion of International Museum Day and proposes a series of special visits to experience it as a welcoming, contemporary space full of possibilities. Throughout two days, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May, you will be able to inhabit the museum enjoying live music and a pincho to accompany the dance, immerse yourself in immersive and interactive experiences and also discover how the great exhibition space of the Cidade da Cultura works inside.
All activities are free and designed for all audiences. Check the timetables, information and make your reservation for the special visits on this website.
This year, International Museum Day is entitled The Future of Museums in Changing Communities, and celebrates how these cultural centres are shaping a more inclusive, innovative and sustainable future.
