Danzade was created in 2024 with the intention of highlighting equality in dance. It was also born with the aim of showing different dance disciplines that exist in our society and that connect in some way with each other. In 2025 it will continue along the lines of equality in dance, but will also include inclusive dance groups.
We will have 3 dance groups in this day, which will represent each of the spaces:
1. Traditional Space.
Represented by Armadanzas de Laraño, a group belonging to the Network of Sociocultural Centres of Compostela.
2. Inclusive Dance Space
Project ‘As Bailadas’. The Uxío Novoneyra Foundation in collaboration with Academia Lodanzas starts its own line of creative work in the city of Santiago de Compostela called ‘As Bailadas’.
3. Space for contemporary/traditional creation.
This will be the moment to see the result of combining traditional and contemporary dance. It will be with the performance of the company Et Suseia Danza, who will perform their show ‘O que non se ve’.
