Costeira
Costeira was born from Marcos Teira's review of Galician popular music, based on the language of traditional percussion and flamenco guitar.
This repertoire recovers traditional music from the repertoire of Faíscas do Xiabre, os gaiteiros de Soutelo de Montes or Avelino Cachafeiro.
It also brings original repertoire inspired by traditional Galician music and composed for the occasion.
A guitar concert where the pandeirada meets the fandango, the Galician rumba meets the tanguillos from Cadiz and the jota meets the bulería.
Costeira is also a show of admiration to pay tribute to an important part of the Iberian musical legacy.

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
