The race will open for registration this Thursday 14 November at 8 p.m. and will have a maximum of 2,000 runners, 1,500 adults and 500 children aged 12 and under. The peculiarity of this event is that all participants over 12 years old are dressed as Father Christmas and those under 12 years old as Elves.

The Father Christmas Race Santiago de Compostela will be in solidarity with the Red Cross for the benefit of the victims of the FOD and in favour of ASOTRAME, Galician association of people with bone marrow transplants, donating part of the inscriptions and opening a Fila 0 so that anyone can make a donation in solidarity.

The event establishes prizes for the first three in the general category, as well as for the first three under 12 years of age in the male and female categories.

To be eligible for these prizes, participants must run the four kilometres dressed in full Father Christmas or Elf costume.
