The pandeireteiras group formed by María, Carme and Uxía from A Pontragha and Maca from O Pinheiro will bring their project Termando os Marcos to the Cloister Garden.
As Bouba describe themselves as “heirs and transmitters of our country’s culture and of a well-made celebration.” With their new work, they relocate themselves, in their own words, “in the village that gave birth to us, that gave us our name and showed us that without us there was no future,” to create something new, small, local and from the margins.

Festivals
Forth edition of this festival, which is an encounter with the local community and the rock heritage of the area through local and sustainable cultural proposals.
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
