Stories, sometimes, are like cherries, when you put one in your mouth it seems impossible to stop. In commemoration of Oral Storytelling Day, Vero Rilo and Atenea García bring to the Biblioteca de Galicia the show Bailan as vellas. Os contos das cereixas.
Through this show they bring us the legacy of those who did not remain silent, those who sang and danced, and thus bring them to the stage. An oral storytelling proposal for adult audiences that vindicates Galician culture, music and poetry of oral transmission. These stories now come to the stage so that they are not lost, so that the old women can sing and dance in our present.

Festivals
The Festa do Banquete de Conxo will count on the tourist train, which will be available to citizens and visitors for free transfers between the Alameda, in the city centre, and the neighbourhood of Conxo.
The 2025 Ascensión Festivities will fill Compostela with music, activities, and tradition during the last week of May. This celebration, one of the most beloved by the people of Santiago, returns with open-air concerts, children’s shows, traditional markets, fairground rides in the Alameda, and exhibitions of Galician folk culture.
