The CGAC presents Arquivar para coidar (NOS), an exhibition resulting from the citizen-participation workshop O Forno da Amara, developed over six months with residents from nearby neighbourhoods. The show highlights community memory through photography, gathering family images, oral testimonies and meaningful objects that reflect local trades, games, everyday life and different forms of care. The project follows the CGAC’s ongoing work with its surrounding territory, continuing initiatives such as Colectiva dun colectivo and Vidas.
The exhibition also features a programme of parallel activities, including guided walks through the neighbourhoods, a community-led film session, a kite-making workshop and a tasting of traditional breads, along with other proposals for all audiences. Arquivar para coidar (NOS) aims to be a space for meeting and celebrating shared memory, emphasising the bonds that shape and inspire the future of our neighbourhoods.
