We are providing the space for this photographic exhibition organised by Sergio Jacques as a tribute to the Portuguese writer Urbano Tavares on the centenary of his birth.
A Dança da Lua is an exhibition focused on the first published work (1949) of the writer Urbano Tavares Rodrigues: ‘Santiago de Compostela (Quadros y Sugestões de la Galicia)’, a book that brings together a set of chronicles published in the Diário de Notícias the previous year (1948). These chronicles are the motif of the work of the photographer Sérgio Jacques, present in this exhibition, who mixes photographs of the city with phrases and extracts from Urbano Tavares Rodrigues' book to pay homage to him.
