A traditional festival where the San Martiño Pinario neighborhood travels back to 1975. A day full of celebration, with parades, vermouth hour, a tute card tournament, traditional games for children and adults, live music and lots of dancing.
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
A series of concerts, framed within the framework of the Apostle's Festivities, in which classical music becomes a compass and landscape, leading us along deep and resonant emotional paths.
