Timeless
‘Timeless’ is Leo Wellmar's recent project for the Luisa Pita gallery in Santiago de Compostela. A work that follows the landscape tradition, but with a totally personal style. This Swedish artist, based in Barcelona, chooses to observe nature without trying to enumerate the elements that compose it, but rather to suggest the physicality that her body experiences when confronted with the environment.
The artist delights the viewer with mysterious and highly symbolic landscapes. Any of the elements that make up her landscapes assume the role of the individual; thus she invests them with intriguing qualities in their simplicity, but no less so in their state of stillness and immobility, as uncertain as the future that awaits us in a hypothetical world greatly modified by the hand of man.

Festivals
The Festa do Banquete de Conxo will count on the tourist train, which will be available to citizens and visitors for free transfers between the Alameda, in the city centre, and the neighbourhood of Conxo.
The 2025 Ascensión Festivities will fill Compostela with music, activities, and tradition during the last week of May. This celebration, one of the most beloved by the people of Santiago, returns with open-air concerts, children’s shows, traditional markets, fairground rides in the Alameda, and exhibitions of Galician folk culture.
