Raposa
Rubén Abad (electric guitar, Puerto Rican cuatro, lapsteel guitar, vocals) and María Villanueva (Spanish guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals).
Raposa is a band from Pontevedra formed by María Villanueva and Rubén Abad. A project consolidated on a plucked string foundation, where the versatility and virtuosity of both components fly over landscapes mixed by classical music, jazz, world music, protest song or pop, in a performance full of nuances and delicacy.
The sound material gives off balance and proportion, original music that evokes ancient, exotic and vernacular harmonies; an acoustic confection conceived as an offering and vindication of the honest and beautiful of human nature and of music as a tool for social change.
