In a play of masks and facial deformities, Julia investigates the loss of identity and the search for an other who can cover this lack. The illusions created with light and shadow and the possibilities of expanding and deforming the body with other materials amplify Waacking's dynamic and precise movement, transforming the artist into a changing mass, full of possibilities and in constant mutation.
