Os suicidantes
The Fotoforum Compostela Association, an organization with twelve years of experience that aims to promote and defend the Galician language and culture through photography, presents — on the occasion of Galician Literature Day 2025 — a collective exhibition project inspired by the graphic novel Os suicidantes, written by Diego Ameixeiras — a local author — and illustrated by Tomás Guerrero, published by Xerais in 2023. The story presents a dystopian future set in Santiago de Compostela.
The project, sponsored by the Secretaría Xeral da Lingua of the Xunta de Galicia, draws from the plot and aesthetic of Os suicidantes, reflected in 64 noir-inspired photographs created by 23 members of the association.
The exhibition can be visited at the Couceiro bookstore between May 17 and 30, during regular opening hours.
