Mondra, with Ulex as the opening act, will perform at the BenVidaUSC 2025/26 welcome events with a concert at Praza de Mazarelos in Santiago de Compostela. The event will take place on Thursday, September 25, at 8:30 PM, with free admission.

Mondra, a singer, dancer, and one of the most prominent names in today’s Galician music scene, first rose to acclaim with his debut album ARDĒN (2023), which earned him the Martín Códax Award for Best Electronic Album (2024) and the Mestre Mateo Award for Best Music Video (2025).

His acclaimed FOLĪA das ARDENTES has toured widely, and in 2025 he released his second album DE RONDA, a bold and personal work produced by Hevi (Laboratorio Soyuz). Opening the evening will be Ulex, a Compostela-based band formed in 2022 by four teenagers whose sound blends youthful energy with influences from contemporary Galician groups, resulting in what they describe as “reckless rock with cumbia vibes.”
