The work of Manuel Dávila García (Santiago de Compostela, 1934) tells a personal story, chiselled through goldsmithing. His training, working relationships and the space of the workshop construct an intimate, silver-plated intimacy, a story of life inscribed in the framework of a city under construction, which analyses the craft as a form of individual and collective identity.
The exhibition is curated by Adela Dávila and produced by the Asociación de Orfebres de Compostela. It is supported by the Museo de las Peregrinaciones y de Santiago and the use of its temporary exhibition hall.
