New session of Mañás poéticas, an open and free reading of texts by different authors, which in February we dedicate to the most prominent avant-garde poet of Catalan literature in the first half of the 20th century, Joan Salvat Papasseit.
He had a very short and intense life, born in 1894 in Barcelona. Best known as a poet, he also wrote articles and manifestos, especially during his period of greater involvement in political and social issues, which led to him being imprisoned for two months for his article “Un pueblo, Portugal” (A People, Portugal).
