Teatro de la Abadía
Los yugoslavos begins when a waiter asks a customer for help after seeing him lift someone’s spirits with just a few words. He asks him to speak to his wife, who seems to be sinking into sadness and silence.
The main characters are two men who exchange words and two women who exchange maps. None of them has ever set foot in the country once known as Yugoslavia. The title refers to a place where people who share having been born in a territory that no longer exists might come together.
Los yugoslavos is a work about love, sorrow, the search for a place, and the hope found in words. It is led by the actor from Ferrol, Javier Gutiérrez.
