The exhibition “Lorca and Galicia: 90th Anniversary of the First Edition of Seis poemas galegos” opens on October 22 at the Colegio de Fonseca to commemorate ninety years since the publication of Federico García Lorca’s Galician work. Organized by the University Library of Santiago de Compostela (BUSC), the exhibition showcases two original copies of the 1935 edition, along with photographs, documents, press clippings, and later editions that highlight Lorca’s connection with the Galician language and culture. Structured around six thematic sections, it also features a map of libraries worldwide that hold copies of the first edition. The exhibition can be visited in person or accessed virtually through a guide with QR codes.
