Federico Menini – Llar
Llar (“home” in Valencian) is a meeting point between architecture and circus arts, with wood as its main protagonist. It is the search for a shelter, a dwelling, a hut: the space where one lives and feels safe and at peace.
The juggler builds structures through balancing wooden elements, seeking stability and creating a unique language full of surprises. Using different circus techniques, the show invites the audience to reflect on our roots and the places we inhabit.
This is an original, unique, and innovative performance, the result of a long process of research and experimentation inspired by various artistic disciplines. Humor, rhythm, originality, and refined juggling technique come together in a production for audiences of all ages.
Llar received the 2024 IVC Awards for Valencian Performing Arts, winning Best Circus Show and Best Circus Artist.
