Indumentaria popular galega
This exhibition, part of the events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Asociación do Traxe Galego, will bring together between fifteen and twenty full or partial antique outfits from the four Galician provinces.
Over 100 historical garments displayed in the same space. The exhibition will also include exact replicas of antique pieces known only through photographs or too fragile to be shown in their original form.
These are garments dating from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries, reflecting the most representative features of the traditional clothing worn by the popular classes across various Galician regions. The collection offers a tangible and faithful perspective on the true heritage of Galician dress.

Festivals
Forth edition of this festival, which is an encounter with the local community and the rock heritage of the area through local and sustainable cultural proposals.
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
