III Os 10.000 peregrinos (10K Deputación da Coruña)
The Diputación de A Coruña organises with the collaboration of the Concello de Santiago de Compostela, the III race ‘Os 10000 pilgrims (10K Deputación da Coruña)’, a race of international calendar.
This is an inclusive event, with the participation of the whole population in mind: children, young people, adults... A race to encourage and promote sport in general through the practice of pedestrianism, offering different options depending on the age range.

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
