Iago Banet
Described as a master guitarist by Sean Rafferty, BBC Radio 3, In Tune; and as a 'highly recommended artist' by Celtic Connections, Iago creates stories without words, captivating audiences as he does so.
Dubbed in the UK as 'The Galician King of Acoustic Guitar', Iago Banet released his third album, TRES, in March 2023, which was followed by a tour that has included multiple sold-out shows and a fantastic reception from British audiences. His appearance at festivals such as Brecon Jazz, Hellys International Guitar Festival, Aberjazz or Festival de Jazz y Blues de Pontevedra, showed his versatility as a musician showing new levels of skill and complexity, while fusing styles ranging from gypsy jazz, blues, Americana, country and Dixieland, to swing or pop.

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
