The lecture “Hegel with Žižek: The Trauma of the Absolute”, part of the Mazarelos Lectures at the Faculty of Philosophy, will be given by Berta M. Pérez (Universitat de València). The session examines the complex relationship between substance and subject in Hegel’s thought, as interpreted by Žižek. It highlights how this intrinsic tension forms an “impossible loop,” revealing the traumatic nature of the truth of the real.
