The Museo do Pobo Galegose joins the tributes to the intellectual and artist Isaac Díaz Pardo, protagonist of the Día das Artes Galegas, with a programme of events in memory of the former founding member and president of its Board of Trustees from 2000 to 2011.
Among the planned activities is an installation in the northwest area of the Museum, scheduled to open tomorrow, Friday, April 4, at 12 noon. Spaces Against the Void will explore the figure of Isaac Díaz Pardo, highlighting his role in the refounding of the Seminario de Estudos Galegos, his unique connection to the Museo do Pobo Galego, and his efforts in support of historical memory. These three facets of the intellectual will be showcased through graphic and bibliographic documentation, along with a small selection of pieces by the author, all drawn from the Museum’s collection.
