The “Market Encounters” series, organized by Fundación RIA in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia, comes to an end next Wednesday, April 23rd, with a cultural and gastronomic event featuring four chefs from Santiago de Compostela:

—Víctor Lobejón (Anaco)
—Iago Pazos (Abastos)
—Alén Tarrío (Pampín Bar)
The day will begin at 10:00 AM at Santiago’s Mercado de Abastos, where the featured chefs, accompanied by Gabriel Alén, Director General of Commerce and Consumer Affairs of the Xunta de Galicia, and Manuel Rodríguez, Director of Fundación RIA, will tour the market and meet with the press to share details about the program.
The public event will take place at 6:30 PM at the Fundación RIA headquarters, with opening remarks by Gabriel Alén and Manuel Rodríguez, who will also review highlights from the previous sessions. This will be followed by a conversation with the four chefs.
To close the evening, attendees will enjoy a tasting session featuring four specially prepared tapas — one from each chef.
